The catalogue of universities, institutes, degree programmes and doctoral schools comes from the open RAD-on service (OPI PIB), which publishes data from the state register POL-on; it is refreshed every month. National figures come from Statistics Poland (GUS), regional R&D data from Eurostat, and research categories for 2022–2025 from the list published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Polska.science is one of the hubs of the TheScience.fm Platform, a group of popular-science podcasts and websites that joins places where science is done into routes. Polska.science links to Frascati.science and Bologna.science and to the city hubs where international laboratories with Polish participation are located.
Every page lists its sources and the date they were last checked. If you find a discrepancy, tell us which page and which section, and give the source you are comparing against. Confirmed corrections are made on the page itself.
We write from primary sources – the institutions, agencies and documents concerned – and explain them in our own words. We do not publish figures without a source a reader can check.
We use artificial intelligence tools to help find sources, prepare drafts and check texts, and we do so ethically and openly. We work with several independent tools and cross-check their results against one another, and every figure and quotation is verified against its source. Nothing is published without the approval of the editorial team, which takes responsibility for every text on the site.
Polska.science is an independent educational site. It is not a site of any state institution, university or ministry and is not endorsed by them. It does not promote commercial brands.
If you work at an institution, museum or event mentioned here and want to correct or update a description, write to us. We are also open to cooperation with institutions, educators and science communicators; anything sponsored is always clearly marked and never affects what we write.
