Regions
Poland has 16 regions (voivodeships). For each: students, universities, research institutes and branch campuses.
Poland is divided into 16 voivodeships (regions), and science and higher education are spread very unevenly between them. Each region page shows the number of students according to Statistics Poland (GUS), the universities and research institutes from the POL-on register and the branch campuses of institutions from other regions.
Regional R&D spending is compared on the R&D page, and individual cities are described in Academic cities.
