The institutions that, according to the Act, make up the Polish science system: higher education institutions and their federations, the Polish Academy of Sciences and its institutes, research institutes, international scientific institutes, the Łukasiewicz Centre and the Network's institutes, the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, and other entities conducting research activity.
